The Fitzroy Falls Spiny Crayfish is one of Australia's endangered marine animals. Located upstream of the New South Whales Fitzroy Falls, this is the only place in the world where this spiny crayfish thrives. The species is restricted to a 12 kilometer waterway, which is less than 1 meter high. These Crayfish are small in length, with the longest ever found measured in at only 86mm OCL (8.6cm, occipital carapace length).
